I don’t agree with everything you say, but I want you to know how much I appreciate and respect you, white_cloud. And this needed to be said, and was put so beautifully. I agree with every point you make in this post. This is like feminists who insist on women being allowed into a men’s gym while also insisting on women being allowed female-only gyms. No space is allowed to be male-only, or male-viewpoint-only, but women insist on female-only or female-viewpoint-only spaces all the time. The only male safe space left on the planet is the men’s bathroom, ffs. And even then, there will be feminist-leaning men policing what is said. It’s very frustrating. And yes, it seems the more logical and reasonable and rational you are in proving a point of their dogma wrong, the more likely you are to be vilified. Trolls are just embittered assholes being jerks. Men who tell the truth…those are the ones who must be silenced, by whatever means possible. What those feminists really need to think about is the attitude feminism has had right from the start. “We’re going to redefine society, and men should either help, make it happen, or get out of the way.” And men? Who cares what they think or feel, or how they’re to get along in the feminist utopia they plan? They aren’t stakeholders in society—they’re oppressors, tools or disposable. Very, very telling.
